efios     Efios home Weblog     The efios blog: "It's all about people and networks"       11 July 2003 Seasonal effects in community metrics Recently I have been doing metrics on a community of practice, but today I have struck something remarkable. While visualizing the number of participants that had filled out their profile, on a monthly basis, the following result came up: I wonder now of course if I see a trend; would there be a correlation between the seasons and my metrics? Would cold weather make people less likely to fill out their profile? There is by the way, no correlation between these metrics and the usage of the community tool..
